Current conclusion
Linux testing reaches the title screen, main menu and Dark Beauty Castle loading on a patched build. First-level loading stops at DCC metadata handling; menu transitions also crash intermittently.
Platform test results
Linux · Title screen and menu; first level blocked
IssuesThe Linux report records rendered logos, cinematics, subtitles and the main menu. Starting New Game loads Dark Beauty Castle until a DCC metadata failure. Audio samples were captured; title-screen frame rates were below 60 FPS on the tested hardware.
