Official release and playable baseline
The tracked public release is v0.1.1 (published September 28, 2026). The upstream official list identifies Dreaming Sarah on Windows as Playable. Other titles discussed here have game-specific experimental tests, not the same official designation. Official compatibility table ↗
October game milestones
Astro Bot: Windows gameplay with freezes
An October 5 Windows AMD test got into gameplay on the astrobot b58df66c stack with PR #637 and a warm shader cache. Normal-play readings were approximately 17–19 FPS; a heavy scene dropped to 7–8 FPS. Freezes remained. A different Linux integration branch captured tutorial and Sky Garden gameplay. Hollow Knight: Silksong: early gameplay on patched Windows
A Windows NVIDIA report records opening gameplay at 60 FPS using an experimental patch stack and two opt-in switches. AMD and Linux tests have different reached stages and remaining issues. The result is not an official Playable verdict. NVIDIA discussion ↗ · Environment comparison.
Sonic Origins: first draws, not a presented frame
A Linux test using main f1451396 with patches and local shader/depth workarounds reached first draws. The report did not record a presented frame or normal gameplay. Linux test ↗ · Compatibility details.
Demon's Souls: tutorial reached with major rendering issues
A patched Linux setup using main df16c4c2 reached the tutorial at roughly 2–2.2 FPS; the HUD appeared correctly but 3D rendering did not. This measures a specific experimental configuration, not general Windows or Linux support. Original testing thread ↗.
Implementation progress is not game compatibility
The upstream implementation dashboard ↗ tracks known library declarations and shader instructions. These engineering denominators do not count successfully running games. A game can convert and begin executing yet fail at an import, shader, memory operation or scene load. The October reports demonstrate why the reached stage, build and blocker are the useful measurements.
